Just us!! :)

We finally got to get away just us and we went to Estes Park for the night!! :) We wanted to get there kinda early on saturday but we didnt get there till a little later.. about dinner time but that was ok anyway! :) We ended up just going to dinner at this little place called Locals.. it was pretty good for a little local restraunt. After dinner we decided to go back to our hotel and watch the end of the Rockies game.. and they finally won a game! :) The game ended and we were trying to decide what to do and if there was going to be anything to do since its a small town if anything was going to be open.. it was kinda like sterling haha It was like a Ghost town after a certain time haha so we finally decided to go to a bar and just hang out for a bit... we get to a bar and were just hanging out. Josh wants to do a shot so the bartender comes to check on us and knows we want a shot and so he gives us our shots then these people next to us want to do one with us so we all do it together! Then the people move closer to us and we all start talking and drinking with them and as we are talking we find out they are from Missouri... then we talk more and we find out they are dating and the guy was 25 and the lady was 40!!!! hahahahaaha that was really funny!!! She didnt only have her own 2 kids but she also had 2 grandkids!!!! hahaa wow! She was definately robbing the craddle! :D Made me feel like I wasnt so much hahaha :D So we hung out with them all night talking, getting to know them and play shuffle board.. that game is harder than it looks! We were not planning on staying at the bar this late by the way so then after they buy us drinks and rounds of shots... we look at the time and it was 1am and the bar was gonna close soon so we were getting ready to leave and saying by to our friends and we were getting pictures with them and we had to ind someone to take or picture. I go up to this girl that was playing pool and she takes it then she asks me and the lady we were with if we would take some pics that were not very approriate.. haha she jsut stood there with the camera up and kept asking. we were like no thats ok and she said she is into girls... what a freak for sure lol.. anyways, we drove there and we were not driving back to the hotel the way we were drinking so we decide to walk back to our hotel.... not a fun idea so we went to the car and got layers or jackets on and took a hike back to the hotel... That was a pretty cold walk... in pretty much a blizzard and some wind, all after it lightening and hailed for a bit before we left. I dont think we will do that again.. maybe just call a taxi next time :D hahaha Finally back at the hotel and get to sleep in a warm bed but then it didnt seem long till we got woken up by the ppl next door arguing at 5am! Who has something to argue about at 5am!!! There was yelling and doors slamming.. :/ crazy crazy ppl! Finally they sleep and we fell back to sleep and in no time it was time to wake up and check out of the hotel and as im getting ready Josh has to walk back downtown (the 20 min walk) in the freezing cold wind and bring it back to our hotel! :( We get checked out and then we get to do some walking around and going into shops after our breakfast at Ed's Cantina. We also looked to see if Trail Ridge Road was open but it was still closed for the season so we will have to do that sometime in the summer! Then after all the craziness and shopping it was time to go home! It was definitely a fun and crazy weekend I would have to say! I love going on little trips like that just me and Josh!! Its so much fun just to have "just us time" :) I for sure want to do this again.. maybe a weekend thing next time Josh?!? ;) hehe He knows there are many places I want to go and see so im sure we will get to do something like this again... maybe next time it wont be so crazy and crazy fighting people haha or maybe it will be crazy again who knows :) either way it would still be fun just us! well I think that pretty much sums up our fun filled weekend!! :) Thank you so much for everything this weekend Josh!!!
